Sea Witch Collectables features original ocean inspired art by resident multimedia artist, Krista Laybolt.

About the Artist: 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Krista Laybolt is a born Nova Scotian who has been creating art, in varied forms, since she was a little girl. Her inspirations come from the beauty and majesty of nature and she has always possessed a keen interest in combining color, textures and mixed media to express mood, movement and to enhance the esthetics of each individual subject.

 

While Krista has lived most of her life in Dartmouth, she has also called the Eastern Shore & the South Shore of NS home. A constant in her life has been a need to be close to the Ocean and her artworks are heavily influenced by Nautical and Ocean inspired imagery .

After a career in the health care sector and associated management consulting world, she opened the Sea Witch Collectables in August 2020. The business represents the realization of a lifelong dream of creating and sharing art with others as the primary focus for her creativity.

​

As mentioned previously, Krista's creations are varied in the nature of the media used. This Artisan is skilled in a wide variety of artistic techniques including: painting, stained glass, resin sculpture, photography, pyrography, floral design, traditional rope work and a number of other techniques she uses to enhance each individual masterpiece!

Parking: At the top of the driveway just outside the shop or along the road below the driveway.
